Mikhailovskaya poultry farm became more profitable: last  year Mikhailovskaya Poultry Factory gained nearly 16 mln. rubles of net profit, increasing this indicator almost twice. In 2008 the net profit exceeded 8.3 mln. rubles.

The company’s increased profitability indicators are related to increase of the production volumes and sales of products, restraint of its net cost and improving the livability of growing birds and average daily weight increment. The majority shareholder of the poultry factory is Penta AgroGroup (owns 82.56% of ordinary shares), one more large shareholder of the factory is Trading House of Khabarovsk Distillery, a limited liability company in Khabarovsk (9% of shares).
WE AGREE TO SUCH SUPPORT. 16.5 BLN. RUBLES ALLOCATED FOR DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY COMPLEX THIS YEAR.
Elena Skrynnik, head of the Agricultural Ministry, signed an agreement with the governors of Moscow, Bryansk, Kirov, Ivanovo, Irkutsk, Tula and Saratov regions and heads of the Republic of Kalmykia and the Altai Territory for financing the implementation of the State Program of Development of Agricultural Industry Complex in 2010 for the total amount of 16.5 bln. rubles. The money from the federal and regional budgets will be spent for support of agricultural production and social development of rural areas in the above regions.
“It is important that this year we sign agreements 2-3 months earlier than before, – the minister noted. – That will allow the agricultural producers to receive funds before the beginning of spring agricultural works and procure all the necessary things for them beforehand". Governor Pavel Ipatov thanked Elena Skrynnik for system-based and weighed approach to management of the industry which contributes not only to implementation of high technologies into agricultural production, but to increase of competitive ability of the domestic agricultural industrial complex, including animal breeding and poultry production.
And those are not just words. In the cattle breeding the priority tasks are creation of a quality fodder base, acquisition of breeding cattle, construction, reconstruction and upgrade of farms and dairy complexes. Suffice it to say that this year they plan to invest 1,9 bln. rubles into development of animal breeding, and two years later increase this amount to 2 bln. rubles. As a result, by 2012 it is planned to increase production of milk to 1,128 thousand tons, to get at least 298 thousand tons of meat and 930 million pcs. of eggs.
It is the first time for the latest years for a powerful burst in poultry industry. One of the characteristic examples is creating a large complex for production and processing of turkey meat in the territory of the region. It planned capacity is 240 thousand tons of turkey meat and 50 thousand tons of duck meat a year. In addition, they plan works for reconstruction of Elshanskaya and Krasnokutskaya poultry factories. At the same time the upgrade of Mikhailovskaya poultry factory in Tatischevo district is going on at full speed. That was encouraged by successful negotiations at the International Green Week Berlin with the German producers of specialized technological equipment for poultry industry enterprises.
Great changes are planned soon in the processing industry. The outcome is regional long-term program for development of the enterprises of that industry. The state support funds from the federal and regional budgets will also be allocated there.
Other priority trends of agricultural industry is implementation of the federal special-purpose program “Social Development of Rural Areas through 2012”. It includes, in particular, preservation of existing and creation of new jobs. For example, for the past three years more than 300 young specialist were employed in the agricultural industry enterprises for the past three years. They all have been paid lump-sum financial aid with additional payment to main wages amounting in total to 25.5 million rubles.
Much attention is paid to improving the housing conditions of  rural people. Thus, it is planned to build or acquire at least 40 thousand square meters of housing for young specialists in the secondary market within the framework of the social program.
