Alexander Mechetin, Chairman of the Board of Directors

Alexander Mechetin founded Synergy Group of companies in 1999 and currently is the chairman of the management board of the Group. In 2001 he defended his PhD thesis in economy titled "Organizational and economic support of enterprise reformation in the transitional period”. He was trained under EMBA program of the Oxford University. Also he graduated from the Economics and Management Institute of the Far Eastern State Technical University, faculty of law of FENU (Far Eastern National University).
 

Narek Arutyunyan, member of the Board of Directors, General Director of PentAgro

In 2003-2009 he occupied various management positions in the Ukrprodukt Group of companies (the first Ukrainian company to hold IPO at the foreign stock exchange in 2005). Until 2005 he has been occupying the position of deputy CFO of the Group and then took the position of the mergers and acquisitions director until 2007, and in the period 2007-2009 headed the agricultural division of the Group. In 2000-2001 he worked over the corporate management project under the aegis of IFC (World Bank) in Armenia.
In summer 2009 Narek Arutyunyan started his work in Synergy Group and headed the food trend of the Group (later PentAgro JSC). He graduated from the University of Oxford with the MBA degree in 2003. He also has a PhD degree in economics in the management sphere from the Institute of Economic Reforms and Management of Armenia.

 

Valery Kiryushin, member of the Board of Directors, Agricultural Technologies Director of PentAgro

Director of Siberian Agriculture and Chemization Research Institute, General Director of NPO Zemledelie research and production association (1980-1989). Head of the scientific and technical progress department of the State Commission of the Council of Ministers of the USSR for food and procurement (1989–1991). Since 1991, head of the soil science chair in Moscow Agricultural Academy (MSHA). He graduated from K.A. Timiryazev Timiryazev Agricultural Academy of Moscow (MSHA) in 1964. Doctor of Biology (1977), professor (1988), academician of Lenin All-Union Academy of Agricultural Sciences (1988). Is a prominent scientist in the sphere of soil science an agricultural chemistry, author of the adaptive-landscape farming theory. He has been heading the scientific and agricultural trend of PentAgro since 2008.

 

Ruslan Khusainov, member of the Board of Directors, Agricultural Development Director of PentAgro

In 2001-2003 he worked at the enterprises of the agricultural and industrial complex in the Saratov region, in the period 2003-2004 – in the Moscow office of APK OGO. Since 2004 he has been working as financial auditor in the companies included into Synergy JSC. He has been working in PentAgro Group from the moment the agricultural trend was founded. He graduated from N.G. Chernyshevsky State University of Saratov in 2003 and Financial Academy with the Government of the Russian Federation in 2007.

 

Sergey Kuptsov, member of the Board of Directors

Before 1999 he occupied management positions in Tiger Securities investment company, Vladivostok. Since 1999 he has been working in the structure of Synergy Group of companies. Currently he is the director of the investment department of Synergy JSC. He possesses a qualification certificate of the FCSM series 1.0. He has a 7-year sectoral (agro-industrial) experience. He graduated from the Far Eastern State University, faculty of physics.
